ForgeFinder.com Activates Private Auction Centers
Forgefinder.com, the first and only e-commerce marketplace
dedicated to the forged metals industry, today announced that it has activated
its Private Auction Center feature. Pursuant to buyer requests, ForgeFinder has created an environment that
permits any registered buyer to request its own Private Auction Center.
Private Auction Center Features:
- A Private Auction Center allows a buyer to
conduct its forge purchasing in a closed auction center that is only accessible
to its pre-approved forge shops. In
this manner, buyers can be assured that their specifications, prints and other
confidential information is not shared with the entire membership of the
ForgeFinder site.
- Seller home pages will allow each forge shop to
see and enter each Private Auction Center to which they have access.
- Buyers can add and subtract forge shops from
their Private Auction Center simply by notifying the ForgeFinder site
administrator.
- A single buyer can establish a separate Private
Auction Center for each of its purchasing professionals.
- There is no cost for a buyer to request the
creation of a Private Auction Center and the Private Auction Center can be
created in a few short minutes.
- Buyers can maintain the ability to send their
requests for quotation to all of the Site’s registered sellers in the event
they wish to open an opportunity to new forge shops.
- If necessary, buyers can request that
ForgeFinder utilize encryption technologies in their private rooms.
The end result is that ForgeFinder can now
accommodate the unique buying requirements of each registered buyer on the
Site. The enhanced privacy is free and
simple to use. Accordingly, ForgeFinder
believes that this feature will enable it to deliver the promise of e-commerce
right to your shop floor.
