ForgeFinder.com President Speaks to French Industry Forging Congress
On Friday, October 13, 2000, Kyle E. Gillman,
President of ForgeFinder.com, Inc., the first and only e-commerce marketplace
dedicated to the forged metals industry, spoke at the Journées Techniques de
la Forge congress that was held at Parc Floral de Paris in Paris, France.
The two-day event, sponsored by the Syndicat national de l’Estampage et de la
Forge (S.N.E.F.), brings together forge shops from around France to discuss
industry trends, learn about technological advancements, and view exhibits of
industry suppliers.
Mr. Gillman’s speech, entitled e-commerce and
the French Forging Industry, was delivered by Mr. Gillman with the invaluable
assistance of Daniel Bonin, the Technical Director of S.N.E.F.
Mr. Bonin invited Mr. Gillman to address the
Congress because of his belief that the French forging industry has world class
capabilities that need to be exposed to the newest developments in
e-commerce. Said Mr. Bonin, “ The French forging industry has excellent production
capabilities and quality standards that need to be promoted throughout the world.
